You are welcome to borrow our books and maps in the Atrium, to plan your stay. Cemaes is a small town overlooking a picturesque sheltered bay on the far north coast of Anglesey, actually the most Northerly village in Wales.
Within the bay and next to the town, Traeth Mawr is a sandy beach with rock pools and a promenade. There is a slipway giving access to disabled visitors and the harbour has a dedicated launching area, with the harbour sea wall being a popular place for a stroll.
The High Street is only 0.5 of a mile away from Castellor where there are Café’s, Pubs, a Post Office & McColls Convenience Store, Heritage Centre, Bakery, Chemist and Library, amongst other amenities.
A popular destination for Watersports, including Kayaking and Sailing, and boat trips are on offer to many locations around the Island.
Walking & Cycling
Whilst out for the day there is a good chance you will get wet and muddy, we have an area to help you dry your walking / cycling gear, please feel free to hand over your soggy belongings so we can dry them ready for the next adventure.
Secure storage for bicycles is also available upon request.
There is a boot scraper to the left of the front door and an outside tap which can be used to wash muddy boots and bicycles. Please ask and we will get the hose for you.
